This course will help managers plan, manage and present reports an proposal that captures the interest of the audience and helps achieve their objectives.

Senior managers are routinely required to read, critique and take charge of report writing projects for presentation to colleagues. Reports can be short form, or long form depending on purpose. All reports have the following requirements: Presentation of an objective, logical argument, representing a single or multiple points of view with facts and figures in a clear, informative and easy to read format.Formats to be covered include the short report, a sales proposal, a financial report, other types of report or proposal.

Besides the main body of the report, it is important to present an attractive structure and layout with front page, table of contents, appropriate referencing and footnotes, end notes. Visually attractive tables and charts will make the report more professional. We also look at presentation formats, whether in print, in PDF or online.
